Hi guys. Does anyone else use different benzos on different days. Like some days I use Valium when I wanna sleep and some days I use klonopin when I'm in anxiety situations but don't want to fall out. Am I the only lunatic who does this or do others too. Valium is prescribed to me and klonopin I have because my aunt has stashes. I know the physical dependacies on these and what not so that's not what I'm here for. And I actually suffer from anxiety OCD depression. And don't use them to party. I just want to know if my brain is safe from sometimes switching benzos and switching back once in a while. Thanx

yeah its safe to switch between em. I do it with temazepam & valium. I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) Just dont get to dependent on them if u can ;)
but seriously yeah try to take em only when ya feeling really bad & not because ya bored.
but yeah u said u only use k-pins in anxiety situations but theres better alternatives to benzos for going to sleep. I dont know ya doses though u may be someone, unlike me that is that doesnt throw them down like lollies
welcome to BL btw

OP: You're actually doing it the right way. Different benzodiazepines have different categories. As you're noticing - clonazepam is better for anxiety, but isn't as good as a hypnotic or muscle relaxant. Diazepam is reasonably good for anxiety (clonaz is MUCH better), but also good for sleep and muscle relaxation.

There's nothing wrong with mixing them at therapeutic doses to achieve the necessary effects at all. A good combination, in my opinion, would be Ativan for a short-acting benzo, which is excellent for anxiety / panic attacks, and Klonopin, which is also very good, but lasts MUCH longer (however also takes longer to set in).
