valium dosing

first off i have zero benzo tolerance
how many MG's of valium equal .125mg of xanax ? yes .125mg ha i stated i have zero tolerance
 
The general rule I think at least is 10mg of Valium is roughly equal to 1mg of Xanax. So you would want 2.5mg of Valium to equal that dose I believe. I think the issue you may encounter is the duration of effects and how "strong" they come on. Xanax is sometimes more of a punch to the face then Valium where as Valium will keep you relaxed for 12 hours. Start really low because that's a really low dose of Xanax and titrate up. I would seriously start at 2.5mg, it seems like nothing but your on such a low dose you don't want to jack your tolerance up.

people believe 10mg of valium equals .5mg of xanax not sure i dont take any benzos for rec use only as needed sometimes i take a dose every few days some weeks i dont take anything i never have an urge of needing a benzo i actually hate taking them in all honesty just certain days where anxiety kicks my ass and a panic attacks hit me hard ill take one
the doc actually freaked out when i told her .25mg of xanax is a bit to much for me.. it does pack a punch the first time i took a .5mg which is what i am prescribed i knocked me on my ass so to speak i felt great but not very functional
since .125mg of xanax does it job for me wanted to see what is close to that in valium as the half life is longer than xanax wish xanax lasted longer
hell i might even just take 2.5mg and take it from there or break that in half and take 1.25mg and increase as needed

12 hours no way, when i take it i feel the effects for about 4 hours max, i know the half life is supposed to be very long but the peak effect usually wears off around 4 hours in.

It's amazing how we all differ. When I first starting taking Valium with zero tolerance, a single dose could have some effect on me for a good few days.
 
I agree that people feel the "high" differently and what may be a O.K for someone may be almost nothing for anther. What needs to be considered is the half life and how long the active metabolites play their function on the CNS, no other aspect of the drug in terms of effect matters as much. The reason why is because if the OP were to take a dose of Valium and under the assumption that it lasts 4 hours which is what they perceive as the duration of the high takes heroin. They could OD because Valiums action on the CNS is significantly longer then Xanax and that is what needs to be explained. Many factors come into how one feels a "high" but biological factors are not as easily changed.

trust me i can control myself and i put research into something before i do anything prescription pill related goes to show you will power goes a long way
i have no intention on using anything for rec use i actually dont see not point but to each his own correct?
just trying to figure the lowest active dose was i mean if anyone ever took such a low dose but i guess exp is best route..will take every precaution possible i honestly rather have a panic attack and end up in the ER before risking having a black out or some crazy shit happen
i also have a lock box or have someone hang onto my prescription after taking a dose for extra measure maybe be comical to go to that extreme but it seems it's super easy to keep redosing
and yes i can agree we all react different even my doc thought it was comical that .125mg worked on me lol

yes i know everything i do is my own fault if shit hits the fan just a bit curious as to other had to say but i guess no one has taken a dose that low of valium lol
yes the dose i take isnt a huge punch of antyhing but it does help me calm down enough
easiest way i can explain is say you are jamming out in a car at high volume that is my anxiety and when you turn it down to non ear popping levels but still very enjoyable that is me on xanax
idk maybe its a good thing such a small dose does it for me my only truly gripe is xanax kicks in within 5 mins if i take it the sub route but the onset and pike do not last long maybe an hr 1.5 hrs max i can feel something lingering but ehh
