right now i'm on 55 mg of valium and am chugging some polar ice vodka. it feels good. i'm not dead. i've been reading in threads that this is a lethal dose of diazepam. this is the second time i've taken the drug, and i feel a good buzz but i'm not out of my mind. i guess i would just like some insight from fellow bluelight members.

LMAO, the overt caution given on this combo does annoy me sometimes but it is all in the name of harm reduction.

Valium on it's own is not lethal. You would choke on the pills first. Add alcohol, opiates or any other CNS depressants to the mix and you could very well end up dead however. While taking a 10mg Valium with a few beers won't kill you mixing benzos and booze in high doses or even lower doses is not a good idea. Even if you don't take enough of either to come anywhere close to killing yourself you can totally black out with may result in alot of embarrassment if your lucky or jail time or harm to you if you are unlucky. So because i can't judge someones tolerance to either alcohol or benzodiazepines i always tell people to avoid the mix in the name of harm reduction.

Also why would you want to ruin a perfectly good Valium buzz with dirty old alcohol.

^ This. Closed as this is a bump of a very old thread. Feel free to start a new one if anyone recently contributing has more they would like to add. PM any questions.
