Hi everyone and thanks for your support. So, I was smoking crack cocaine 4-7 times a week for over a year. Not all day long, just a short 1-2 hour session eacb day. After awhile, I noticed that when I stopped using I would get severe “mouth” pain. It was horrible. Thought it was related to coke jaw at first but turns out it was from a damaged vagus nerve, which I’ll get to in a minute. But I kept using over and over again just to make the mouth pain go away.

About two weeks ago I woke up with very low blood pressure and had no strength in my voice, struggled to speak. Got severe angina all day long too. Saturday i felt like I was deflating my blood flow and pressure was so low. Speaking is hard with no strength in my voice. Also feels like my digestive tract turned off. Heart rate is a mess. Severe brain fog and zero short term memory. And some other issues.

I finally learned that these issues are from a damaged vagus nerve, which controls all the autonomic functions like heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, vocal chords, and more. Confirmed it’s my vagus nerve by going “ahh” in the mirror and seeing that my uvula inmy throat goes to the side, which is a tell tale sign of vagus nerve dysfunction.

The thing is….this only happens when i STOP using cocaine, not while I use. Which is weird. It’s almost like a withdrawal symptom. Has anyone experienced anything likethis before? Issues with your vagus nerve ? What did you do to deal with it?

Thanks!

Please try to stop using the coke safely, and go speak to a qualified doctor ASAP since they might be able to prescribe you something else in place of the cocaine. Also, just remember that you need to nourish your body by eating as well as you can, staying hydrated, sleeping at a regular schedule for at least 8hrs/day, and taking multivitamins if you can too; not to mention, having a solid gym membership and being on a smart program that you stick to regardless of anything else is a good idea 👍. Godspeed
