Using PMA as MAOI?

Hello, I have interesting question (at least for me), could the PMA and the analogues be used as MAOI? Which means taking PMA in lower doses (ex. 10mg), and then use tryptamine or mescaline, would the substance be potentiated?

And sec question, does bk-PMMA have MAOI activity?

The problem with PMA is that it's also a monoamine releaser in addition to being an MAOI, which is what really makes it not safe. The activity if I recall right is reversible inhibition and you may not get into the full effect until you reach a higher dosage, like one close to achieving general central activity. I would bet bk-PMMA has MAOI activity.

Moclobemide is probably a better option, for tryptamines anyway.

So would mixing bk-PMMA with 4-HO-MET and 5-MeO-MiPT be a problem?

I can't find the thread but someone on here tried to do this to make DMT orally active, unsuccessfully.

Why do you need to potentiate those substances? Arent they fully active on their own?

MAO inhibition dramatically increases the potency of many drugs, including most tryptamines.

Yeah, using MAOIs and other drugs together is risky business anyway IMO, using an MAOI that's dangerous in its own right with RCs is asking for trouble.

are you serious? moclobemide is a common unscheduled pharmaceutical antidepressant, it is much easier to find than bk-PMMA, what a weird world we live in.
