Meth Using meth while on psychiatric medication. Advice needed.

Hey everyone i've used meth in the past years quite a bit, probably smoked a quarter Oz all up

I've been clean for a bit over a year and wanna get some.

Im on ghe following meds

Rexulti
Lithium
Sodium valproate
Quetiapine
Basically when i was using meth i was on eveything listed above except Rexulti and lithium and just took a day off the meds before i hit the pipe. But the meds build up in the system. I can provide dose amounts for my meds if needed

Im worried about serotonin syndrome mainly.
Is it a bad idea? I really wanna try it again.

So I just want to ask how old you are?

Some of the wording in your post makes me think you're either young or not very experienced. Sorry. But several years of meth use and you've smoked a quarter ounce? I do that in a week.

But to the more important part of your post. No one can tell you what to do. No one knows what will happen if you try it again. I've been on several meds (4 or more) at once that significantly increase the risk of serotonin syndrome. I used meth every day. I've never gotten it.
Honestly OTC cold meds increase your risk of SS. Would you not take that if you were sick? There's so many things out there that increase the risk of SS. There's so many people out there that have never even heard of it.
My point is no one can tell you what to do here. You have to make the decision. The possibility of getting SS is something that I've thought of a lot in my life. I would stay away from things that increased the risk. I wouldn't want to risk it. I was a single mom with 2 kids though. I couldn't afford to have something happen to me. I guess all I can ask you is would it be worth it if you did happen to get it? Would you have a plan in place for if it happened? All I'm saying is if you decide to use again, have a plan, someone with you who knows the signs to look for, etc. Be safe.
 
Yeah the fact that you're on a handful of different antipsychotics & mood stabilizers tells me you probably shouldn't be using meth in the first place, unless you want whatever problems you're trying to treat to just get worse.

Serotonin syndrome is unlikely but the Rexulti, Lithium & Seroquel will probably block or blunt the effects of the meth.
And those aren't exactly drugs you want to be randomly stopping just to do meth, as they can cause serious rebound psychosis & mental health problems.

No one here can tell you what exactly is going to happen because once you throw a bunch of drugs into the mix, the results are unpredictable.
But we can tell you it's a bad idea.

I've seen meth destroy so many wonderful people & their lives. Is it really worth it? Get some weed or try a different drug. Meth is a monster & I wish it never existed in the first place.

Sorry to sound patronizing, but using meth on top of all those meds (which I assume you need for legit reasons, which probably have something to do with psychosis & mood stability, two things meth highly affects already) is just a horrible, horrible idea. It's not even worth it. You might not even be able to enjoy it because you're taking meds that are actively trying to keep your dopamine levels down. so the meth isn't gonna feel quite the same as it would if you weren't on all those meds.

I'd be more worried about mixing Meth and Quetiapine as Quetiapine is an antipsychotic and Meth is essentially a pro-psychotic. They basically do the opposite of each other and there are a couple of scary reports under the "bad experiences" on Erowid from people who have mixed antipsychotics and amphetamines. It's kinda like taking Imodium and a laxative, except instead of it confusing your gut, it's confusing your brain.

Trust me, it's not worth it.
I used meth 2 weeks ago & totally regret it. Plus it completely ruined the time I was spending with some one, which ended up leading to an argument & now we aren't talking.
All I've been able to do since is sleep every 2-4hrs for the past week & a half.

Dumbest fucking drug ever. Nothing good ever comes out of it. And the people who love using it so much generally aren't the greatest or most reliable people to be around. They're unpredictable, manic, psychotic even, horny, self absorbed, etc..etc.. Having that much dopamine flooding your brain will change anyone's personality.

A year and 4 months is an amazing amount of time! You should keep that going & be proud of yourself, because the longer you're away from the meth, the easier it'll get. Because you'll look at every one else using it & realize you don't wanna be feeling trapped & like shit like they do again.
 
I used Seroquel 50mg IR and 150mg tablets in high doses to withdrawal from an intense Heroin#4 & Morphine dealer's habit. I used Clonidine, 8qty Methadone tablets and Xanax bars too.

used Methadone the first 2 days with Clonidine and Xanax. once the withdrawals got bad the Seroquel was used to sleep it off. by It took 5-6 days and one & only day in the middle, I did dope to recover quickly for a quick breath of air& then back to the grind of getting it done.
