Using Isopropyl Alcohol to fill gelcaps?

From what I can tell, IPA won't dissolve standard gelcaps.

Would it be possible to dissolve a known amount of a substance into IPA and then use add that volume to a gelcap and wait for it to evaporate?

Leaving you with a gelcap with X amount of your powdered substance in?

Why cant you just fill the gelcaps with the substance directly?

This was purely hypothetical, but I suppose it could be used when scales aren't totally reliable or only go to 0.01g, or someone wanted to use volumetric dosing but be able to consume it outside of the house.

You wouldn't even have to evaporate the liquid, the amountof IPA that will fit in a gelcap won't hurt you. But I would do a test run with just plain IPA first to make sure it doesn't dissolve the capsules.
