Anyone have any advice on what I can take with ephedrine to completely kill the anxiety that comes with it? I'm normally a somewhat anxious person, that's probably why ephedrine makes me feel the way it does. Any supplementing advice is welcome, I've been reading on nootropics and other supps and I've come accross phenibut but I don't anything with too severe withdrawal effects. I've already tried theanine, tyrosine, inositol, GABA.. All useless for me. I have a wedding in 10 weeks and I want to lose a good 40lbs which is why I want to use it ephedrine (it kills my appetite like nothing else I've tried)

If you've tried all that and it's not worked, I doubt anything that won't also blunt the effects you desire from the eph will work.

But also, 4lbs a week is a hell of a lot you're seeking to achieve - a deficit of over 13,000 calories under BMR per week.

What kind of diet are you going to use?

Due to the pharmacology of ephedrine, it does a good job of activating the fight-or-flight response via CNS adrenergic agonism / norepinephrine release compared to other stimulants. Hence increased anxiety is going to be part and parcel of the experience pretty much no matter what. Anything that helps anxiety will either just mask the issue by being a strong sedative that blunts your emotions, or an adrenergic antagonist which will reduce all the effects of ephedrine, metabolic rate increase included.

40 lbs over 70 days works out to losing 0.6 lbs or ~260 grams of body weight on a consistent basis every day. I'm not an expert on weight loss, but that sounds neither easy, sustainable, nor very healthy.

I've decided that I'm not going to attempt to lose 40 lbs, but at least 25. I just want to be able to use ephedrine without feeling like garbage.

You don't need it. Just stay strong with your diet, do your cardio, and lift. Maybe towards the end of your goal if you start hitting a little plateau incorporate a little..

yeah eating right is much more important than simply eating less (allthough eating a bit less is good for most people, not only for those who want to loose weight). if you want to stay slim in the long run, you need to change your habits regarding diet and exercise for good.

if you pressure yourself into loosing a lot of weight in a short time without working on your habits, the fat will come back with a revenge ;)
