Yeah any tips?

On how to AVOID doing that.

I get my take homes each Friday, they supposed to last for sat n sun, but I always have Em used up by Saturday morning, at my best.

Then I feel like shit until Monday.

It keeps happening.
I crave suboxone!!!

Have someone hang on to your meds and dole them out for you.

Letting medicine control you is a step to hell, my friend.

Another thing you might want to try is asking about a low dose ADHD medicine like 40mg of Vyvanse to take in the morning, especially if you have issues with ADD/ADHD, which most opiate addicts do.

The Vyvanse destroyed all cravings for opiates in my case, and my life has taken off and done better since starting.

You could also try getting off Suboxone and using Kratom in it's place, although you would need your tolerance to go down before the kratom would work, the kratom is healthier and works better.

Express your concerns and these ideas to your doctor. The last thing you need is to turn back to opiates. It will wreck you and be the death of you.

Be well. I hope the best for you, and I hope I may have helped you with my advice to become happy and balanced.

Thanks for the advice.
I get my GF to dole out my medicine, but she gets drunk and gives it back to me as soon as I ask.
I hate amphetamines, of any kind, I've tried them heaps of times, they make me feel filthy, not like opiates which make me feel good.
I'll look up kraton.
I can't risk having my weekend doses taken off me though so I can't tell my doctor that part.

Hmmm. The kratom is unlikely to work if you are using the suboxone though.

Have you tried the ADHD medication Vyvanse? It is relatively new. It is extende release and hard to abuse, and most people say it feels "cleaner" than other medications in it's class.

Anyways, kratom is sooooooo much more healthy, IMHO. Worked better for me, too. Only downside is it doesn't disarm other opiates like suboxone, which you probably need.

Now that I think about it, It would probably be wisest to stick with suboxone and to use Kratom if you get off the suboxone sometime in the future.

At any rate, don't go back to using. You might want to tell your gf to be firmer with the medicine, because that suboxone is keeping you away from getting addicted again. What use is having someone hang on to your meds if they give them out as if you had them yourself? :(

You need to be firm in combat with your addiction. I've been there and done all that myself, and being loose with a dose schedule will be your downfall.

It might also be possible that your suboxone dose is a bit low. Yet, I would hesitate to get an increase because of how hard it is to get off later.

Weigh everything with your doctor, my friend. Anything but going back to the opiates! Be strong. Be vigilent. Kick your addiction in the nuts and don't let it take control, because you are fighting over your life here.

Stay safe.

This seems better suited to BDD, so I'll move it there. Hopefully you'll get some more replies.

Adderal used to put me off opiates but now I've gotten in the bad habit of using benzos and opiates to help come down at night. The great part of this is that I can use a lot less to get a lot higher due to going days on end with an empty stomach (besides for water). However, this is a horrible routine to get into because now I have EXTREME trouble coming down from stims naturally. Can't remember the last time I got a good night's sleep after taking an adderall (even 10 hours prior). I should be nearly immune to my dose because I've been prescribed for about 10 years, but as of late it's been kicking my ass.

Try spacing out your daily dose throughout the day. That may satisfy your urge to take more, when really you are taking your normal daily dose, just spaced out more.

I'll try this.

Thanks for the ideas guys, next weekend I'll put it into action.

Does anyone else crave bupe?

Like badly crave it all the time, except for a few hours after each dose?
I just want more and more and only satisfied for a short time.
Getting to sleep is so difficult, because all I'm thinking about is my next dose, and trying to make myself sleep so as I can fast travel to the next day for my dose.
Last night was the worst for some time, it was like a delirium feeling that hurt my head filled with the thought of bupe.

I think about bupe way more often than I ever thought about sex, and probably on par with my thoughts of heroin and morphine back when those were the go.

The main reason I'm on bluelight is to talk think breathe and hear about bupe.

My doctor wants me to go onto methadone but I like bupe so I said no.

I know you all can't solve my problems, but has anyone else experienced this level of obsession with bupe?

I am sure people do - it's an opioid, and everyone has their preferences - you obviously prefer bupe! It might be an idea to think about changing to an opioid like methadone that doesn't give you such intense cravings, if you are on it for maintenance and want to try to cut that out of your life. I know it isn't what you want, as you much prefer bupe, but the idea of maintenance is to try to reduce cravings and give you some stability..

are you on bupe for maintenance and at what dose if so? to satiate your cravings it may be as simple as increasing your dose. or perhaps bupe isn't for you when it comes to this.

are you aiming to get clean from opiates or maintain?

methadone is a well proven maintenance drug which is why your doctor may have mentioned it - don't discount it. without having a ceiling dose such as bupe (and it's antagonistic properties come in at ~ the 4mg dose), the dosage can adjusted in higher increments. it may also prove to better satiate your cravings if that's your issue as it seems.

basically what effie said.

hell, if i had the opportunity to be on either i would, preferably bupe for my pain and a cravings killer. methadone only has so much value for pain management imo, less so than bupe. of course everyones opinion differs.

Maintenance only.

I have no intention of ever being completely off opiates, I love them, they are my main purpose in life after my family.

The other reason I don't want to go in methadone, is because my doctor is a bit ignorant, and I don't think he will dose me correctly as needed.

My sister who had a much worse opiate addiction than mine, combined with an amphetamine habit as well, she couldn't get a dose higher than 35 mg a day from this doctor, despite her explaining everytime that the dose just wasn't holding her and she was still getting sick and using, he didn't listen, he reckoned that 35 mg was more than enough for anyone and she must be trying to get high off it.
Luckily sub is much stronger than methadone, I don't know what dose he would give me if he did that to my sister.

I don't trust him to dose me correctly, and that would be a disaster for me.

There are no other options available.

yeah, keeping it spread out (and keeping the dose response curve at more of a constant, rather than peaks and troughs making you feel shitty) seems like a decent compromise to start off. why not trial it through the week?

i'm going to merge your posts together.

Yeah good idea.
They are very related.

I am going to make a plan for the weekend coming, and obtain some kind of sleep aid.

i can sympathise with that situation. i'm in a very similar situation.

my only advice is make yourself adjust, you have to want to make changes until you can find another doc who will work with you, otherwise you're going perpetually round and round the vicious cycle. it's a hard reality.

talk to your doctor about the methadone dosing and what the clinic restrictions and rules are. each clinic differs so go in knowing their rules.
