using alcohol like using benzos in tripping

Booze and psychs can be a pretty fun combo, and a couple drinks to take of the post-strip stimulation of some PEAs is quite helpful, but I wouldn't try drinking to dull/abort a trip. Seems pretty risky, well, maybe one or two drinks would be alright yeah, but not drunkenness, I'd pick another drug for this purpose (GHB is spectacular for this purpose IMO, more likely to improve a trip than kill, unless you wanna carp out which will definitely kill it).

if you have 1 or 2 beers plus a small amount of marijuana then you won't get sick.

don't blame the drugs for your own mistakes!

on topic: i find some alcohol and relieve some anxiety and make the peak less intense. i don't mind the flavor when im tripping but i am a regular drinker.

A little out of context . Yes I know this but I have seen hundreds of people end up having horrible times due to this combo just trying to point out that is probably isn't as "reliably fun" as it seems to be for Jesusgreen.

I have seen a few posts from BLers talking about when they have drunk and smoked themselves out of a trip before. I find that with alcohol at the end I can kill the trip fairly easy although it still takes more drinks than what it would on an empty stomach sober. I have also smoked myself to sleep on a few psychs after the peak, I wouldn't recommend drinking or weed to kill a trip BUT weed is far worse. You have to be prepared for the fact that low-mid doses are going to increase the effects greatly and even after a huge amount of cones you may not still sleep and be a lot higher than before.

No it's not the same thing, anyway not all benzo's are created equally. A few beers to take the edge off that can serve just as anxiolytic as a benzo. But the more hypnotic the benzo is the more troubling the result can be if you take too much during a trip. On the other hand if you really need to dull a trip beause it's too much a basic benzo is fine.
Alcohol is much more intoxicating, you can lose yourself with psychedelics and alcohol. I think if I anxiety is taking the best of you a few like perhaps 2 beers can be worth a try. But don't start groping for alcohol either to dry and drown the anxiety because you might very well get back from it something worse.

no, alcohol doesnt mix very well at all with tripping. they're not the same, i love alcohol... but with tripping its very dirty. benzos are a lot smoother and natrual feeling. booze just fucks things up
