why has the USA education system been deteriorating so much the past decades?

It has been defunded of money and defrauded with lies. Corporations have replaced it's stimulating effect with tv, fast food, and prescription drugs. ....its easy, they're delicious!

You can't fix the system, its much too corrupted already. The best you can do is self-educate on top of the state required work load and hope you don't turn out retarded.
