i was not being sarcastic. the cat got sedated, and now it will be fine. it must have been terrified in that box, true, and that sucks, but i meant physically fine. physically, its true worries come from the possibility of being taken from its owner due to "animal abuse" (which i agree, locking a cat in a small box and loading the box with smoke is animal abuse), and then being "put to sleep", which is rather ironic i think

It causes temporary blindness and/or deafness. and doesn't get them 'stoned'. Also whenever they feature stoners in the media, why the fuck do they all look like they have never come across a shower or haircut. I want to get charged with something weed related and featured on the news, so i can be all thumbs up and visibly clean.

my twitchy depressed cat who is always anxious and scared... when she's stoned, she calms, relaxes, starts purring, shows affection

my other cat doesnt like weed, he just sleeps and eats, stoned or sober (more so stoned)

(note: i am not saying i blow smoke or feed my cats pot)
 
my kitty likes to get stoned every time I get my weed out she runs up to me. That being said though I would never stuff her a box thats just fucking cruel. I didn't get my cat high until i noticed she would always come over to me when i had weed in my had or was smoking.

hopefully the local pet stores and and shelters are notified of who this prick is and they bar him from buying or adopting animals. It's a small price to pay but something other than a fine should happen to him.

I guess I should clarify (as I sit here petting my own cat)- I don't think that stuffing a cat in a box-shaped bong should be encouraged, but I don't think that the man deserves to be ass-raped in jail or otherwise assaulted as other posters have suggested.

I love animals very much, more so than humans. This just doesn't strike me as terribly egregious behavior. It's not commendable or anything, just typical stupid stoner shit.

If you think there is something wrong with me, so be it. Just my honest opinions.

THAT was classic, had it spilled out all over the place and was goin to town along with a couple kittens who got in on the action lol Show THAT to the haters that say it has no medical value! Stimulate hunger what? =p

this is quite possibly the most profoundly hypocritical thread ive ever read in my decade of perusing teh internetz.

First off, just because the title of the thread says "stuffs cat in bong" doesn't mean he literally shoved and pushed and beat the cat into the box against it's will. While I don't claim that such an action is acceptable, it is very likely he gently placed the cat in the box, closed the lid and the cat chilled out and got stoned. He may have done this dozens of times and the cat actually loved it and willingly went into the box. It's amazing how the title of the article sets your perception of the event before you even read the article or consider the situation.

Second, I'm willing to bet a nut that the majority of all you pricks who are screaming animal abuse and that this guy should be crucified with a red hot poker shoved up his ass every ten minutes eat meat on a daily basis. Yes, the blood and flesh of cuddly animals locked in cages barely bigger than themselves for their entire lives. Living in their own shit and piss, smelling it and theirs for their entire lives. What would you prefer: a few minutes in a box getting baked, or a lifetime in a steel box/cage/feedlot in your own filth and decay? hypocrites.

Most animals I know who live with people who smoke make it abnormally hard to smoke becuase they're always trying to get it

I seriously doubt the cat was "chilled" when it got placed in the box and had the lid closed on it. (Not to mention the toxic smoke it was FORCED to inhale).
Secondly, I would rather the guy humanely killed the cat to eat it because he was starving to death than fuck around causing needless stress to the poor thing.
If you cant do something like looking after a pet properly, dont do it at all.

Yeah, stupid shit was wrong, but i seriously think we should worry about our own species first.

Id imagine that it would be more stressful for the animal to be accidentally locked outside on a really cold night than be in that box. I mean, look at it. Its not exacly craft made...probly had alot of air leaks n such. The cats not dead or physically injured...lets all get over it.
