My own experience after 5 years on Vyvanse (began with 50mg bid, DECREASED to 70mg daily after 6 months ), under the medical supervision of a practicing clinical psychiatrist who also did ongoing neurological RESEARCH on the effect of most drugs being used in the treatment of disorders of the brain, and/or the brain's chemistry. Because Vyvanse not only reaches its maximum effect quickly, but stays at that level (no foggy, uncomfortable drop off as I experienced with other stimulents after 4-6 hrs) for the entire 12-14 hours with NO drop-off, it has been a great drug for me. My doctor also regularly shared published research of clinical researchers everywhere, including Vyvanse, all of which report minimal so-called, addictive indications when patients stayed within prescribed dosage (low or high dose), AND other research indicates that Vyvanse does NOT lead to the abuse or addiction to other clinical and recreational drugs either.
The only SIDE EFFECTS that I have experienced taking a host of drugs for a mild TBI (Post-Concussion Syndrome) including both chronic and variable dizziness, nausea, imbalance, and headache, in addition to earlier diagnosed depression and inattentative ADD have been dry mouth, and slow urination flow (urination slow to begin, and is slow to empty the bladder completely, including drips as long as I stand over the toilet bowl). Leakage after urination is very minimal.
My inquiry is an attempt to determine which drugs (including but not limited to Vyvanse) are causing the difference in my urination. Those include Effexor SR, Meloxicam, Ondansetron (ODT), and Lyrica. I'd be very grate-full for your responses.

Hey OP, try taking chelated magnesium every day for the whole hard-to-pee issue.

It really helps with muscle function, and it may even decrease some of the other side effects you are having. Magnesium is one of the most important nutrients for our body.
