Hi,

I have been a light semi-regular user (i.e. probably about .1g each time i used it - for sleep) of weed for the past 3 months, approximately 48 hours ago I smoked 2 solid bowls of (medical, not laced) skywalker og. i was beyond super high for the next 12 hours, then the weird distortions/body sensations seemed to cool off but I could not fall asleep the whole night and in the morning decided i'd just sleep the next night.

Fast forward to approx 24 hours since I first smoked it, as I was going to try to sleep I got my first panic attack of my life and it eventually went away after ~30 minutes of deep breaths and movement. I tried to go to sleep again after but was having trouble finding a sleeping position because my stomach still felt uncomfortable, at which point I had another mini panic attack but was able to breath that one away in 5-10 mins. I could not fall asleep that night and was awake until about 9 am sunday, at which point I fell asleep for about 6 hours (woke up at 3pm). still felt kinda distorted but better. then i had another panic attack a few hours later but was able to breath it away eventually.

it has now been a good 48-49 hours since I smoked those 2 bowls, but things still seem kinda distorted.

I would really like advice because

I was planning on using the weekend to begin cramming for 2 exams next week, I need to study and catch up on a lot of material so I want to take addy to cram but I am worried since I had those panic attacks.

So I would really appreciate if you guys could help:

When will I feel relatively normal again?
When would it be safe to take addy again? (I have NEVER had panic attacks before this instance, and the 2 bowls worth of skywalker og was by far the most I have ever smoked)
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process of feeling normal/being able to take addy?

Also, my stomach feels okay now and my heart is not beating harder/faster anymore but I still feel too distorted/stimulated to be able to sleep, is there anything I can do?

Thank you!

UPDATE: okay i walked outside for a little bit to get air and came back and just as I was about to try to go to sleep

i suddenly felt slightly more high, i have been feeling progressively more and more high and it has kind went down a little but still feel pretty high. definitely less high/feels better than 48 hours ago but what the hell? please help!

i am keeping some propranolol closeby my bed incase i feel a panic attack coming

ahhh

Man...anxiety is very common for early stoners. Have you only been smoking for 3 months? I mean thats not a long time at allllll!

A skywalker OG is a REALLY strong hybrid strain. Im looking at a dispensary right now that has it, and its tested out at 20.3% THC level. Thats incredibly strong, a bowl of that would knock me on my ass and I'm a loooonnggg time stoner. So first thing first, im advising you to look for a strain not so strong. Do some homework, diff strains make a big difference as to how they make you feel. If you are looking help sleeping then id try some mild indicas.

As for your current situation...THC is one of the chems that stays in your blood stream longest...takes a long time for your system to clean out. Which could mean you can feel effects off getting reallllyyy baked like that for days. You take adderall on a regular basis? Does it ever give you high blood pressure or anything like that?

I'd say if you are used to taking adderall then taking maybe alittle less than your normal dose will help you clear your head up and help you focus on your work. I actually smoke weed on my adderall all the time! But!!!! This is because i dont get panic attacks from getting stoned. But adderall can really help me clear the brain fog after a night of smoking way too much bud.

Having panic attacks when you get really stoned, especially when your still a young stoner(3 months is nothing) is really common. Bud these days is really strong, take it easy with what and how much you smoke. Start a low dose of adderall and see how that does. If you start to get more nervous then dont take any more, and dont focus on your symptoms. Start on your homework of some studying as it will take your mind of feeling stoned.
