I have never in my life heard the term "ergoamide". However I can see without looking why it could be used. However, it is too general because it would include both Lysergic acid amides (lysergamides) and ergopeptides which are ergoline(s) linked to a tripeptide via an amide group. AFAIK, no one on bluelight or anywhere for that matter are trying to get high from consuming ergopeptides (aside from Krystal Chole, Leonard Pickard, and Gordon Todd Skinner; who all supposedly drank ergot wine)
So I don't really see a reason to distinguish between the two classes.
Note that the three that is mentioned refers to the three natural ergoamides
None of the clavines even posess an amide functional group, so how are they even ergo
amides?

And their role in psychoactivity is unknown or they're known to be toxic.
I think lysergamide has a sloppy feel
Because you personally think that a word has a
sloppy feel, even though it's been used by millions of people for decades and it's scientifically descriptive, that we should change the term to one that almost no one uses or has heard of?
All of the commonly discussed ergot compounds on bluelight (LSD, AL-LAD, MIPLA, LSA etc) are derivatives of Lysergic Acid. And they're amides, so lysergamide is a totally understandable term.
I don't know of a single post on BL about anyone consuming ergolines/clavines. I don't know of anyone besides myself that even posesses pure clavines. Nor do I know of anyone seriously discussing consumption of ergotamine (ergopeptides).
So my answer would be
"Gtfo. No. Do not change or remove the Lysergamide tag. Why reinvent the wheel"
Lastly, while the paper you linked is very informative, even they don't mention the terms ergoamide or clavine, so I'm not sure why it's relevant to the point you're trying to make? After googling ergoamide, I can only find 2 papers that use that term.
