unusually bad anxiety & depression, any ideas?

Last weekend had a couple of pills, couple of lines of speed and some lines of pills/speed mix (licked up on finger). Lot of alcohol.

Went till lunchtime the next day then slept till evening, up and showered, ate, back to bed, took 3 sleeping tablets and got up for work in the morning.

All week I have had BAD anxiety, very depressed and tired. Struggling to get through the day, early nights but feeling VERY tired from when I get up in the morning, right through the day. Eating poorly and craving food (unusual as very healthy typically).

Any ideas on how to get through this really dark mood / feelings / depression / anxiety ?
 
Just know that after a weekend like that, its normal for symptoms to last for around a week. As for how to deal with it, exercise, sleep and eat well, and wait it'll pass.
 
As strange as it may sound, as the above said, working out sleeping right and eating a diet high in tryptophan should help. A good amount of trytophan could be attained from eating a bowl of some actual whole grain cereal and milk with a banana thrown in. Wait an half an hour or so to digest that, then trying going on a run, or lifting weights. Lifting weights always seems to be most effective for me when I need relief for reasons similar to why you do right now. This will help to release BDNF which will help to increase the plasticity of existing serotonin axons which may be damaged and causing your depression. However, cases like yours usually go away on their own within a few days to a couple weeks, but if you want to speed up the time it takes for you to feel better this'll help. Do this for a couple days and you'll be feeling better, maybe even try some meditation. Also in the future, if you plan to use a heavy amount of substances like that again, look into getting yourself some piracetam; there are other supplements out there too but to me piracetam seems to be the safest with there being very few ways for it to become neurotoxic. I can't say much about it myself but I've heard it can do wonders while coming down. Take it after the drugs wear off.

Pretty much what I have been doing but the trypophan info was what I am looking for. I have gone to he gym 3 of 4 days although I have not wanted to & did not feel strong. I know it will pass but just lasting WAY longer than normal..

I will investigate piracetam.

On a side note it was actuallly reassuring to speak to a person tonight who took these SAME pills & has also has a real bad week, barely drag himself outta bed & felt bad tempered & generally very ordinary.
 
These symptoms are normal, especially because of the drug combinations

I get very similar symptoms if I have a fueled weekend. Follow the steps suggested above. 5-HTP supplement seems to help me with depression. Next time I highly suggest not drinking a lot of
alcohol, a couple of drinks is okay. It seems to make the next few days a lot worse when combined with mdma/stimulants, for me anyway.
 
I find when there's speed mixed with my mandy I end up up feeling extra shite for the following week, you'll get through it mate but I'd advise being a bit more careful next time.

Not 100% sure but believe it to be MDMA
Approx fortnightly for last 8 months, biggest gap 3 weeks, sometimes weekly
Drink maybe once a week, only on the weekend

Thinking maybe the mixture made it worse as don't mix so typically. Also did drink a lot. Certainly don't want to repeat this week so will be a bit more sensible.
 
Using mandy that regularly is eventually going to start taking its toll unfortunately.
 
I hear of lots of cases of overuse.

That is too often you need to wait at least 30 days, but ideally about 50 or 60. The best amount of time to wait is 90 days +

This is so that your brain can settle its connections and serotonin levels again.
Typical cases of overuse all say things like "I keep getting bad anxiety attacks"
"i have been laying in bed crying for no reason"

Etc

Thats very alarming behaviour!

Please take 60 days off at least. Give your brain a chance to sort itself out.

Reagent testing is a must. To ensure that you dont get Bunk mdma. Who knows what is out there these days.
