is this my final moment of clarity?
the last time to take in that big breath of life
then exhale all that's wrong?
how can't i treasure a moment like this?
you know what the world's coming to
and you don't want to progress further until you can cope with the reality of this.
the world begins to seem opaque the longer i look at it.
visions begin to blur and confuse my existance..
or at least my perception of it.

the sun rises and sets all the same.
the stars continue to tell their legacy to willing eyes.
the earth is just as it always has been.
and i keep breathing...

A lovely piece of poetry, definately indicative of a questioning mind, making it easy for me to relate to and identify with. I'm definately a fan of poetry composed both as imagery/perspective, and questions posed to the reader. It comes across as being so much more involving than a pure and simple discourse.

I found this one very easy to like. :)
