I feel the earth between my toes
the salty surf cascading over my feet
I'm warm.
It's divine.
I remain powerless.
The sun dancing about in the hapless sky
while puffy little clouds taunt it
make fun of the happy sun.
I dig my toes in the sand,
feel it go between my toes
under my nails, and my soles
and I fall.
On my knees, I lost all strength.
I just stare as the sea beckons me closer.
It pulls me closer.. It pulls me under.
Someday..
I will get to play God.
