Unknown DOx drug

Someone I know took a blotter of what they thought was LSD but had the numbers and letters "25i" on the back. This person also said it had a rather chemical taste that stayed in his mouth a while. They're now supposedly in a really happy state of mind but it had been around 3 to 4 hours since he had taken the drug and feeling only happy affects. Said person is kind of disappointed since he paid -snip- No price discussion ~Jesusgreen from a good source but wonders if something more would happen. He recently ate large marijuana edibles with an unknown amount in them and was wondering if this will provoke anything? %)

25i refers to 25i-nbome; the nbomes are different than the DOx drugs. Both are phenethylamines but the nbomes are more potent and dangerous than the DOx also not active orally.

And if it was an NBOMe then it's not orally active. You need to leave it under your tongue or between your gums and cheek for at least 20-30 minutes for the dose to absorb properly.

I've had friends swallow NBOMe tabs very quickly and notice similar effects, but as previously stated they generally won't cause psychedelic effects unless taken sublingually. I have heard reports of people taking NBOMe orally and tripping but it's all anecdotal and a variety of factors could have come into play

So said person didn't feel much from the blotter, he took it by placing it on his tongue for about 35 minutes and then when the bad taste went away he swallowed it. Says that if he focused hard enough on an object it slowly began to move a little but had little to no visuals he seems disappointed but at least enjoyed the edibles.

Laying drugs as powerful as 25i-NBOMe onto paper evenly is not easy trick. Rather than having a low dose one, he might've had a high dose one, & some people do not survive high doses of NBOMes.

I would be very wary about using that batch, or that supplier again if I were you...

25I isn't a DOx drug, it stands for 25I-NBOMe, the NBOMe derivative of 2C-I. Tell him to be careful with it, large doses of the NBOMe series provoke very strong vasoconstriction that can hospitalise or even kill someone.

Why would someone take a large amount of edibles on top of a psychedelic and then ask what it'll do? You (or your friend if it isn't you) should ask first if you're worried about what something may do and don't know.

The edibles may potentiate the trip a lot so be prepared for quite the ride.

It's quite possible that it was just a weak hit, but it's also possible that like many amateur laid blotters the dosage was uneven across the whole sheet of blotters and as such that dose was weak even if they were designed to be strong - if that's the case then I'd highly recommend being very careful with any more, and never taking more than 1 hit from that batch since if there was a "hot spot" with more 25I on some of the blotters you could end up taking way way more than planned.
