I’m always really stubborn,
But I listened to his advice
Learning from his life
Avoiding a mistake made twice.
But all I found at uni
Was a place of solitude
A place I had escaped
But now I was back, back in the mood.
And again I feel trapped
By the decisions I have made
I start to feel small again
And all I want to do is fade.
I don’t know what to say
I don’t know what to do
I know that I have failed again
And it’s so frighteningly true.
The years will pass me by
And maybe one day I will find.
That all I ever needed to learn
Was to learn to control my mind.
But for now I think I’ll wait
And speak my empty actions
Ignoring all the beauty
Of the world and it’s attractions.
