Seemingly history of what happened, ever'n'ever in the world, that is first somewhere in space, then on Earth, reminds of a ladder leading many times to higher forms of complex existence. It is obvious that human is not the final step and there will be more of them, but it's not unlikely to say that there can be, might be, the final step. The steps can be summarized as a program or planned execution, of course having in mind that it could also be just all coincidence (which doesn't really sound realistic when you know maths).
In case there is a program, it also reminds of the transition from biological cell to final organism where chemicals flourish, exchange and react, with random factor going through evolution of chemical species which just so happens is influenced by DNA - the mastermind leading all towards it's destined future and destined shape. Each molecule follows its rules and finds its destiny very random and uncertain, however grand picture of masses in time is obviously strictly controlled. What is the destined shape for the universe? We are just going through forming first signs of nervous system, and most of the inner of the egg is protein that will be needed when its time comes. Now it's started to take some shape but not yet sure what it is and what to do with itself, but it will pass and order and final shape will come. And then when it's all ready we crack the wall.
