I have successfully taken Exalgo (extended release hydromorphone 8 mg) many times by sucking off the nasty lipstick-like coating on each pill and then chewing up a bunch of them (under their salmon colored coating they're half grey half white) and I like doing this because the high is usually just as intense as its Dilaudid counterpart (even when the Dilaudid is insufflated) yet it lasts much longer.
However, it tastes absolutely vile when chewing these and today I had a full stomach and threw up in my mouth while chewing my sixth pill, with to still to go (I chewed up eight 8 mg total). I immediately swallowed the emesis/vomit in my mouth back down but I want to know if anyone thinks this will affect the high I'm about to experience. I know I'm soon to find out anyway, but I'd like some opinions regardless.
In a nutshell: will having thrown up these pills -- which I assume mixed them around with the chicken wing-vomit in my mouth an stomach -- and reswallowed it, reduce the intense absorption in my stomach that would otherwise have occurred.
