Unequal pupils when dilated

I've been thinking for a while where to exactely post it; but I figured a drug related forum would be best as it only occurs while under influence.

When I'm under influence of LSD my pupils end up very un equal; one dilates fully and becomes large, while the other one doesn't quite as much, making them different in size until the the LSD is out of my system and I slept a full night. In my early day mushroom trips I never noticed this, but the only time I took mushrooms after having experience with LSD it also happened. I'm not sure if it first occured under influence of LSD or if I just never noticed it before.

I figured my eyes 'were just weird like that' for a long period of time thinking no one esle had is as I had never seen it before, but recently I know someone else who has the same thing; also with the right eye larger. In him I have occasionally noted it sober as well; in myself I haven't. Either way, it appears I'm not the only one having it, and I'm sure a few other people must've noticed it some time.

Now I'm wondering what would cause this and how common it may really be. I'm not worried about it seeing as they return to normal afterwards and unless I look in a mirror I don't even notice they're not the same size.

I know putting atropine in your eye can cause it to happen as well; but I'm wondering if that might be unequal dosing causing that or the fact it might be semi-common for people's eyes not to dilate equally to eachother.

So yes, who else has this?
 
my eyes do this too. it is most noticeable during the come-up and come-down phases, because during the peak of a trip both pupils are just huge. but when they are flexing about, sometimes one gets ahead of the other.
 
Eye dominance? I know my right eye is my primary one and it definitely sees more, dilates more, and hurts more when I'm tripping. Feels like it's draining half of my brain 10x more than the other half.
 
Many parts of our bodies are not completely symmetrical. I, for example, can raise my right eyebrow quizzically and it looks perfect, while trying to do the same motion with my left eyebrow is awkward at best. That particular example may be behavioural rather than physical, but the principle remains intact.
 
Ditto, this also happens to me during trips. And while sober I see slightly different degrees of light in each eye, especially on bright days. I think this is all possibly due to accute anisocoria, which can be caused by some of these drugs.
 
It also happened to my friend.

I heart one theory, something about blood flow, and having more blood flow to left side than right, more drug flows to the left than the right.

Or, just drug affecting more one side than another.

i also have the same qualities in my eyebrows, except reversed. also, i have noticed this difference in pupil size with opiates as well, but reversed, one much smaller than the other.

when doing psychs it happens to me also, and my girlfriend
 
My right eye dilates more than my left as well but this happens on MDMA. I think its kinda funny.
