Undercover Cops in Clubs?

I've been asked a couple of times while out at clubs if I have any pills. I've never dealed. I think it's coz I was probably seen dancing like a lunatic on the podium and assumed to be on them. One of those times I had only been drinking- I always act pretty crazy when I'm out regardless of what I've had. I've had it said to me and I've told others "it's sorta BYO around here" Never thought about or suspected the people asking were UC though. They look my age and seem like any other avarage partygoer, but I guess you can't assume as much ey. Do all your dealing/organizing in advance me thinks.

More than likely it was just some dude trying to roll, and he didn't have a hookup. Don't stress it.

And as far as stereotypes go, you damn well BETTER base your decisions on them if you're gonna deal... jail ain't fun! Sorry. It sucks, I know, but for gods sake, if you look like a square (and there's nothing wrong with that, dressing how you like to dress *is* cool), get a friend to buy for you.

I can't speak for dealers, but if I were being approached by enough young people with double-zero gauge piercings in their earlobes, I wouldn't bother with the nice gentleman who sort of reminds me of a cop...

I agree with this statement... I used to hustle alot in my school and I would base everything on stereotypes...especially in highschool because people basically live by them... But If a guy with double-zero gauge piercings in his earlobes came upto me I would turn him down simply because that's freakish and disgusting:p IMO and the opinion of the crowd I chill with. But yeah the point is if theres a middle aged guy that reminds you of a cop, get your ass out of there.

god. know what cops can and cant do. and sometimes theyll do things they cant and you have no control over that so just be careful.

Alright NARCS have their own rules...I didn't know that...but still, I havent been caught for drugs before *knock on wood* And now that I know that they dont have to tell you there a cop I doubt I ever will.

Another way to tell them is they walk around with a drink, and they only drink like a sip of it the whole night.

Yeah same, which is why the dude described in my opening post in this thread was the inspiration for it, he just reminded me too much like someone who was undercover. You could tell someone if they're a bit nervous or shy or embarassed about asking questions about drugs and the like, this guy wasn't. He was acting more like he didn't want to raise my suspicions, but his prying questions were just as suspicious as if he were wearing a uniform to me.

Really, you have to go by stereotypes if you're helping/hustling. The dude with 2 glowsticks, massive pupils and is sweat drenched sculling water is a lot less likely to get you in trouble with the law than a middle aged man dressed like he should be at an over 40's men's club with beady, inquisitive eyes staring at everyone like he's analyising them.

hahaha no wonder why I get asked for pills all the time! :D

I've never seen an obvious undercover cop, or anyone who I suspected was a cop. I'm probably high or drunk anyway, so I might be missing them. Or they are very succesful in their work. No one random has asked me for pills, although I did get asked for weed in a park by two 15 scary looking girls.

Nowadays it is quite rare for people I don't know to ask me if I can get anything, and even my mates don't ask me very often. Having people that are a sus is even more rare; happened to me a couple times in all the times I go out on the town. I guess it's pretty hard to bust people in the club unless they're blatantly dealing drugs.

Did anyone on here hear about the cop in tassie at a club called Syrup ?

Cop who was off duty got smashed and decided to run his own 'sting operation' caught a couple of guys and the court threw the whole thing out.

hehe that will teach them.

As for the police commissioner's son not sure if he's still dealing or not, but I know that his club is the one safe place to deal/buy without a watchful eye of any uc's

Well I had run ins with an undercover cop before, Mine was never in the clubs the one time I came in defenite contact with an undercover DEA agent is when I got busted down in Florida, He was in my "circle of friends" for about 2 years intill he started busting us all, unfortunatly I was dragged into it all cause on of my other "friends" got picked up for selling the undercover crack ( I never sold to him just knew him) and the one day my "friend" got busted with the crack charge he called me and asked for some pills so like any other day I go over there to give him his pills and they undercover was there (at the time I thaught he was one of the boys) so I gave my "friend" 10 pills on the front, and told him to pay me back sometime in the weekend.Everything went fine that night.

Fast forward about a two months later I get raided by the damn DEA ( thankfully it was on a tuesday morning I didnt have nothing on me at the momment) but I was under the influence of some pretty bad ass Purple geltabs ( tripped all night then found some extra's laying around and dropped more in the morning) so needless to say I was pretty out of my mind at the time, getting thrown on the floor and having guns put to your head is never fun when your tripping.

Moral of the story, you cant trust to many people when dealing or having anything to do with drugs, cause this guy was in our circle of friends for years it wasnt just a guy who came up and asked for dope he went to family events, themeparks all that shit with us.

And you cant trust many friends either cause my "friend" was in fact a great guy intill this day ( the DEA interogation got to him I guess, I just laughed it off as I was tripping at the time and wanted to just get to jail)

This is not entirely true, Yeah the middle aged men shouldnt be dealt with. But that doesnt leave out the fact the kid with glowsticks and a pacifier is still not an undercover or even worse a damn confidential informate, Like I posted earlier the undercover cop I got invovled with was just like a normal person that we all hung out with, from the cloths all the way to the music and car he drove. He was just like one of the normal club scene people in Tampa, Florida...you just got to be very cautious when dealing with anybody even friends cause friends turn State sometimes.

And yes undercovers can be on drugs also if it envolves there cases, the one I keep refering to got fucked up all the time.

Anyone is the Los Angeles area. Watch out for Avalon. ALOT of undercovers are inside.

they wont hassel you if your rolling balls. but they do try to buy and sell.

hmm, i could swear theres MUCH more searious crimes going on in Hollywood at 3 am.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've seen undercovers in clubs in the US (can't explain how).

Turns out in the end, he was somebody who posted on a dance music forum with all of us and we'd never met him... he was just young and is VERY shy and awkward when it comes to approaching people. He knew that we were posters on the forum but obviously didn't have the confidence to just say hi... the poor fella knew we had thought he was undercover and were shit scared of him... :)
Hmmm, I might've done that to a group before. D:

I think you're referring to the other end of the state than I am.

Obviously, the weird-looking men over their forties are not the uc, still I won’t sell or even talk about any drug to such a person. It doesn’t just feel good.

Here, in Russia, the biggest problem we got when dealing (or just trying to get some pills for party) is snitches. I guess approximately 30% of all the rollers are the damn snitches who only wait for he right moment to let you get busted with a nice amount of pill in you pocket. So here, we got the Golden Rule – Never mess with the guy (girl) who has been busted for the drug possession. Probably, never sell anything or even talk to an unknown person is the golden rule number 2.

LOL that post works really well with your sig hahaha.

This happened years ago when walking into a club, a dude who worked behind the bar said:

"What do you want?" (bar was packed btw)

"I'll have a beer"

"Hey, wait on didn't you sell a quarter or a half to my mate last week?"

"huh?"

"Didn't you sell a quarter or a half to my mate Ben last week?"

"uh, what?"

"You know, Ben, didn't you sell..."

"oh..... yeah...."

"Oh, anyway, what beer do you want?"

It was later revealed the guy was the Police Commisioner's son 8o

A week later, same bar same dude:

"I'll have a beer"

"Hey, you've got heaps of buds on ya tonight don't ya?"

"No, I actually stopped that" (which was true)

"Nah, you're just saying that"

"No really, I have stopped cause too many people were finding out about it"

"ohh.... so what beer did you want?"

haha, you have got to be from tassie bro, i didnt realise there were so many tassie people on here, tassie is such a small place, UC's are everywhere but they get known pretty quickly, are we able to name narcs on here? :) haha

As I can see your reasoning behind not talking to people who got busted, but not all of us are "snitches".. I got busted back in 1999 (I explain further up in this thread) And the cops did in fact try to get me to snitch and they said my charge would get dropped. But I just said take me to jail, and ever since I have had the hardest time finding another hook up. I dont like to lie so I usually tell people ive been busted before and I guess thats where I am going wrong, like you stated cant really trust people who have been busted...

But I am as loyal as I can be, not everyone who gets popped turns state....

It was weird last night. At the local pub watching a band and some chick who had been talking to the bouncers for ages outside came up to me and a mate, asked us both our names, then asked him what he did and where he work, then asked me what I did, asked me which band I play in, what else I do, where I do that work then walked off and asked the next person a similar set of questions.

Later when I went outside to have a cig a dude I had spoken briefly with about the weather came up to me and asked me what was the deal with that chick. I said I didn't know, he said he noticed both the bouncers and the 4 cops who had just left were all 'kissing her arse' and being really buddy-like to her. He asked me if I knew who she was (this guy had only just moved to Aus from NZ) to which I replied that I had never seen her before.

Kinda weird.
