Not sure if this topic has been previously explored, my searches didn't turn anything up. I'll cut right to the chase both my brother and myself both experience a heightened state of alertness, boundless energy, as well as a drive or motivation to be either productive or socialize. Some negative effects are anger, insomnia, restlessness, etc. These have been consistent with oxycodone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, and hydromorphone. Also the dose to response curve is upwards and we've never experienced the drowsiness/nausea/nodding that most others demonstrate with doses much smaller than our own. Also we've never experienced "dope sickness" or anything close to withdrawal symptoms no matter what dose for any extended period of time.

Has anyone else reported a similar reaction as no user I've come into contact with has. Thanks for any input you guys might have.

I've got the same sort of reaction as far as massive energy on oxycodone, never gone beyond 10mg/6 hours when I had my wisdom teeth out. I've done some research myself and it really doesn't seem to have a accepted answer.

Moving to BDD as this seems like you'd probably get more traffic there

These are common side effects of opiates, the stimulation is most commonly reported with oxycodone.

You may not experience withdrawal symptoms if you're still new to opiates, dependence takes a little while to really grab ahold.

Quit while you're ahead, the hole only gets darker and deeper.

Well, I can assure you anyone can be plagued by dope-sickness in wd's if they are addicted without their opiates. As for the other reported effects, they are not really uncommon. There are some people who are more likely to report feelings of stimulation with the use of opiates, they are stimulating drugs because they allow for increase of dopamine in the brain, and likely other reasons, even though they are CNS depressants. Personally I can be stimulated and sedated at the same time. Anger and insomnia caused by opiates is far from rare, but restlessness is a little weird, maybe it is just the urge to do something. Yeah, it is pretty normal, and as far as the wd's, consider yourselves lucky that they haven't touched you yet, because use enough for a long enough time, and stop, and they will.

Daily use will speed up the rate you start to develop a physical dependence.

Just because you aren't physically sick when you stop using opiates doesn't mean you aren't addicted to them. Daily use will set in a dependence no matter who you are. Sounds like you've already got the "mental" dependence, IMO. Continue on this path and I guarantee you develop a physical dependence as well. It's only a matter of time if you continue to abuse them.

Quit while you're ahead, OP.

EDIT: OP, the reason you do not feel nausea/nodding with a higher dose than what might floor other people is because you are becoming tolerant.
