The raven does sit with his watchful eyes
Dead to emotions clueless to surroundings
Demons do dance around him laughing and cheering
Angels with no wings follow with no feeling
Broken in thought not understanding
One eyed Pride stands with arms wide open
Still the raven does sit with eyes of perception
No idea though of the plot against him

A reply to Jungle Bunny,
This poem is about a person, a person so caught up in themselves that they do not realize anything going on around them. The raven would be that person. I chose a raven because birds tend to be watchful animals. But in my poem the raven stands in its own pride and glory, while fake people (angels with no wings) and others such as friends with no sense (the demons) live on their lives and don't really care for anyone "...follow with no feeling". The raven does stand in the middle of his own little world not thinking "Broken in thought not understanding". Even though he has the eyes he still isn't looking "Still the raven does sit with eyes of perception". And the last of it about the plot against him.... That would have to deal with the bigger picture his whole life ahead of him, the raven does stand but he only see and hears what he wants to and doesn't really step out of his self absorbed box. Well I gues that would explain the basis of it... it took me about 5 minutes to write so its not the best of work but it does have a story behind it

Why thank you.... I do enjoy your work as well. What ever you might say I do believe that you are a overall better writer than I.
