Sad, another drug destroyed by propaganda. I was just thinking about what kind of reactions people would have if 20/20 or Hardcopy or something did a special 'Date rape drug thrashes America!'. There would be surveillance video clips of people getting drunk in clubs and listening to country music(complete with line dancing in the background). Of course, it wouldn't be a 20/20 special without some concerned parents complaining about underage alcohol abuse, a few statistics about alcohol/club related deaths, and a 5 minute long segment showing the public just how easy it is to get this 'date rape drug' at any local convenience store or dance club.
That's enough off-topic babble. Concerning your original question, I have heard a couple people refer to GHB as 'roofies' because it makes you down like 'roofies'. These same people refer to any muscle relaxer as 'roofies' also. But for the most part, 'roofies' refers to flunitrazepam aka Rohypnol. Ask your source what exactly is in the pill/liquid before you take it. Slang can be a bitch like that.
