I got prescribed some Ultram. I have not picked them up yet. I was just wondering if they were any good. I know they are not as good as Vicodin. I was just wondering what your thoughts on them were. Thanks!!

Ultram isn't nearly as euphoric as hydrocodone, to give you an idea, maybe 100mg Tramadol (Ultram) equals *roughly* 3mg-6mg hydrocodone, generally closer to the lower end of that and it depends on each person... most find it gives little euphoria..

I usually need about 4 ultram. Smoke some weed and you'll feel pretty good. definately not vicodin but still if it's what you've got it's better than nothing

i recommend you give them a try but they're nothing worth getting all excited about. I have found them to give me experience in what feels like respiratory paralysis as i drift off to sleep. So you say that hydrocodone is much preferable than Ultram. I think I may need to see my doctor to test you're findings. Tramadol has definately kept me off the alcohol but I now have a smoking habit

don't waste your time. they are only good at high doses(400mg)and then the high is still junk. i also had VERY mild siezures on 400+mg so i don't even bother.

Its one of the opiates (like darvon+codeine) that seems to cause shitty side effects before you reach the euphoria. I know some people can get into the zone with codeine but I have nothing good to say about it.

Here's a sub-question from me....I have 125mg of ultram, and 5mg (half a pill) of Flexeril (cylcobenzaprine, the muscle relaxant)....together, are these enough for a worthwhile experience or should i hang onto them until i can find something else to add into the mix other than weed?

but you have to use quite big doses.. (400 mg)

I've taken it up to 400mg today but my dose/response certinly shows tolerance. There are mild side-effects no question. But if the alternative is alcohol you know I'm happier off with this. I think I gonna quit taking now. Like I said before, try it, it will keep you occupied for a while. Don't go into it expecting to extract great enjoyment from these pills. Although it does work, the experience is a little bit rocky and although you have some signs of confidence you can still feel depressed. It has a mildly stimulating property akin to speed but feelings of drowsyness work concurrently. The main side-effect is that you don't feel completely at home with the drug. When you close you're eyes you feel like you need to focus inorder to keep you're thoughts from becoming scattered.

well at the moment I'm on 10mg Diazapam and 200mg Ultram (tramadol) quite a suprisingly nice combo.
ps.. not recommending this combo as I don't know the risks,,,kinda past caring at the moment.

Look, Bluelight isn't a harm reduction board, but don't go around recommending doses of a drug that is high enough to give people seizures. That's fucking retarded, careless, and shows you really have no idea what the hell you're doing.

That's not high enough to give a seizure. I tried it so that's how I know. Look Coolio goes round in #od saying he takes at least a gram to feel any good. Also I don't know if you have heard of tink but I also recall her taking 800mg. I find it concerning that you have these misperceptions but don't go dissing me when you obviously don't know anything about it.

I'm sorry to say SovietContin, but this time apparently you are the one who has no idea what the hell he's doing. You see, ULTRAM (tramadol) mostly comes in forms of time release pills, and with these time release pills, 400mg is in the bounds of normal daily dose (and it definetly won't cause seasures).
