a little background: small time drug user...by this, i mean i smoke pot about once a month, drink once a month, have done acid(the feelings at first were great, every texture had an almost a spiritual effect, but having seen the matrix the day before, people started turning into agents, not good), that's about it.
While i don't condone experimenting with drugs without someone sober with a phone in their hand next to you, the following is my story two night's ago, while trying out some not-so-hard pills for those who are wimps on the subject.
i got all the information on prescription pills i could find, and one that in medium size doses produces a euphoric-type effect was ultram. after (don't quote me on this) taking two 20 mg pills, i layed down on my sofa for a little reading. the philosophy became more and more interesting after about 30 minutes, when the drug really started kicking in.
i put the book down, and felt the cool temperature of my room wrap around me, as if my body were floating, the couch no longer below me. not hallucinating through-out the experience(thank god, seeing as how my last 'trip' involved men with handguns, i felt a soothing calm as my body lost all stress, all tense-ness. after about one and a half hours, my mind would go blank, and all i would think about would be a single crack in the window across the room for almost 20 minutes.
i then decided to see how it affected mobility, which in seems, did greatly. walking was difficult, like when you stand up too quickly, but the feeling is always there. then, the smooth feeling was matched with a feeling of...hmmm...i felt stoned. not laughing-at-everything-you-see stoned, but chuckling-randomly stoned. this continued for about an hour as i watched the news, until all the feelings gave way into being tired and lethargic. seeing as how at that point it was one oclock in the morning, i went to sleep, and woke up the next morning feeling fine, remembering the past night.
once again, i don't condone experimenting with drugs, pills especially, and i got lucky this time, but please don't take this topic the wrong way and go off and get yourself a couple days in ICU.
