This is a posting I previously put under the wrong topic and would like some more input on, I'm 5 ft 7 and 145 lbs, I have used bars before, but not for a while, and typically all i do is smoke now, my question is with my weght if I were to take one ultram ext. release 300mg pill would I be alright? Would I be high? I've read some things about mild to severe seizures, as well as addiction (although i only plan on doing this one time to try it) but I don't want to just jump into it and wind up in trouble. Thoughts?

Tramadol can cause seizures but usually not unless you take 400mg or higher. If you have no opiate tolerance 300mg seems like a bit much. You might get sick. Try just half of that. Will it get you high? Not everyone gets high from Tramadol, some do, dome don't. Personally I've never gotten much from Tramadol. Not even a good pain reliever in my opinion.

You'd be fine. Keep in mind that it is extened release though; therefore the effects will span out over the course of hours and hours. If you wanted a stronger but more brief experience, you could break it up or chew it. If you opt to do so, since you've never taken an opiate before, you may not want to take the whole 300mg, as that may cause dicomfort [when consumed all at once]. If you circumvent the TR, maybe start with half and go from there.

Leave it as is, 300mg XR/ER is fine. I wouldn't crush it up personally.
