Ultra Low Dose Naltrexone - When to Dose the NTX?

I UTFSE and couldn't find anything relevent.

I began using ULDN today to perhaps potentiate/reduce tolerance/addiction to bupe.

I know some say bupe has a higher binding affinity than naltrexone, but I heard one other person say it helped increase the effects of their dose. Plus I know from personal experience naltrexone can cause some precipitated withdrawals if bupe is still in your system.

I'm on subutex, not suboxone. Just got back on it (again) and want to keep my dose to below 1mg a day.

This morning I took about 6mcg of naltrexone about 15 minds before insufflating .5mg of bupe. The effects did feel more pronounced, I'd say around 30 - 40% stronger. I've tried grapefruit juice, cimetidine and other things in the past with various opes and never felt a difference, but with this I did.

But my question is, since I'm not IV'ing, when would the low dose naltrexone be most effective in relation to my dose.

And anyone have personal experience with what a good dose of LDN is? Ever tried with bupe? The one guy I read about who used it with bupe said 2mcg did nothing, 5mcg and 10mcg worked great, and 20mcg didn't help.

Most ULDN threads become endless speculation and people saying things like "the only way to lower opiate tolerance is to not use." Thats awesome, but not what I'm asking.

Nope.

Dissolved 50mg pill into one liter of water.

Did the math, measured that it took 20-23 drops to make a ml with an old tincture eye dropper, so 1 drop is about 2.2mcg

Then drink it.

Okay, well my personal experience is similar to the other experience report I read.

With subutex, the dose is kinda potentiated at 3 -4mcg, and quite noticeably potentiated with 10mcg or so of Naltrexone (taken 10mins or so before orally).

Naltrexone is by far the best potentiator I have ever encountered.

I've been using approximately 12 mcg with some success. I'm still in the early stages, but I'm hopeful that it will also assist in reducing tolerance.
