UK vs USA documentary.

i hate how theres always a near death experience or something bad relating to a drug in american documentaries. i wish schools taught safe recreational usage instead of blind "just don't do it, or you'l die" teaching tactics

@ 7 minutes uk one...

id LOVE to be in his lab xD

yeah man deffo, the amount of pills hes got lol.

but, it annoys me how, for the actual experiemtn involving the students, its pure mdma.

they did that cus then the experiment is valid...but they use the negative parts about ecstasy with people who took pills and died..

the Us 1 just made me laugh about that girl who took like 7 e's. blame the drug, its all the drugs fault.

This was ~10 years after the UK banning MDMA (class A) and its funny as fuck. I just wanted an excuse to post it. This thread is relevant enough.

From Wikipedia:
In the U.S., MDMA was legal and unregulated until 31 May 1985, at which time it was emergency scheduled to DEA Schedule I, for drugs deemed to have no medical uses and a high potential for abuse. During DEA hearings to schedule MDMA, most experts recommended DEA Schedule III prescription status for the drug, due to beneficial usage of MDMA in psychotherapy. The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) overseeing the hearings, Francis Young, also recommended that MDMA be placed in Schedule III. The DEA however classified MDMA as Schedule I, with a DEA official having been quoting as saying "Fuck that" to regard of the grade III scheduling suggestion.
ROFL

Wow two so similar documentaries made following the same subjects and nearly all the same footage yet presenting strikingly different feels to them.

Amazing the difference really.

Yeah Id love for them to do that experiment on the pills now again, they generally get the general pill consensus from pills seized at festivals, 2009 was like the MDMA drought where it was absolutely nowhere in pills. Documentry is alright a bit cringy at times though in the UK one. That guyy on his gap year is a bit of a toff

Of course for the near death experince they took some dumb teenager (i got drunk then took pills, didnt feel them so i took more pills, and then more and then snorted it... so weird how did i end up in the hospital?) Wow that girl was so dumb. (the usa doc)

The whole thing about the mother comming in is tricky. Like its sad that her son died, but honestly 4-5 times a week! Yes its sad, but dont tell me how to live my life because your son destroyed his.

Yeah the thing is MD isn't really addictive, so you can't blame the fact he was doing it 4-5 times a week on the drug itself, only on him as a person.
