You know, you are right, I really should have a deal for both. I will update the site when I get home. I haven't bothered to implement a shopping cart yet because we are only selling 2 reagents at the time being, obviously more will come soon
I did just get an order for both yeah, so if it was you then you got both.

The quantity is probably deceiving, 5ml is up to 100 drops and 1-3 drops are enough for a test, hence I figured it was an appropriate amount unless you are going through 50+ tests of substances in 6 months.
5ml is also the standard amount I found people to be selling as well. But if I hear more comments about the quantity I will surely up it on the next batches, thanks for letting me know your concerns.
You missed out the bit about the protective clothing, the fume cabinet and the other assorted safety equipment and the insurance (including public liability). This is concentrated sulphuric acid we're talking about here, not the one-mole stuff found dotted around school chemistry labs or even the four-and-a-bit-mole stuff found in vehicle batteries. That shit reacts exothermically with anything containing moisture -- even getting hot enough to set it on fire. If a small quantity of water gets into a larger quantity of conc H2SO4, the resulting reaction can throw drops of concentrated acid all over the place. Formaldehyde is not only highly toxic (it used to be used, in dilute solution, in chemical toilets; it worked by killing all the germs in the waste) but inflammable. Now think ..... Do you really want to go adding something inflammable to something that can ignite organic matter and that will spit drops everywhere? Even outdoors, in old clothes? To make marquis, mix 95 parts conc sulphuric acid with 5% formaldehyde, both available on ebay
I was looking on the SafeTest4 website yesterday and they have expanded their range. The also have added RobaTest (Robadope - modified Simon's reagent) results tables and are indicated they will be releasing the RobaTest very soon.
They have also changed their kit lineup. They have 4 different kits from 4 reagent kits to 6 at very low prices as they want to promote harm reduction. I purchased one of their kits (5 reagent - Marquis, Mecke, Mandelin, Gallic Acid & Liebermann) a month ago and it is very good and has already solved what was in some mystery powder.
I must say they do a top job and I have recommended them to a lot of people. They take so much care and use high grade bottles (have seen some low grade - very squeezable - dropper bottles used which leach into the strong reagent acids and degrade kits quickly). They even individually seal each reagent bottle and use some sort of sponge like material (apparently Postal requirements) plus it came in a robust cardboard mailing box which wa enclosed in a mailing bad. All very discrete and amazing value.
So robatest/robadope is available...from SafeTest4
Hope that helps
