But surely because they can't sustain their habits, then treatment to help them would be better than them causing another person misery i.e someone's house being robbed.
I don't know if you may be misinterpreting what i am saying here, I am not saying give junkie's a fix when ever they want one because of withdrawals (this is self inflicted as we all know). I know there are already methadone programs and rehabs, which are obviously good things, what Im saying is if the drugs were legal then it would be a more positive outlook on the treatments of these diseases, because that is what they are. I am not in the least bit bothered about my taxes going to Alcoholics to pay for their drink, Im not saying it is good to keep doing it, but rather that than them stop, end up homeless trying to find money for their habit, loosing everything or stopping cold turkey and potentially dying. Taxes are deducted from everything we do, and our government uses it in what ever way they see fit. I know about tax rebates and the like, but everything has a tax on it, but i don't miss it, because i know it goes straight to the government. End of story. We work, they take a slice of our money, just how the world is run.
Sorry about the long post man, i was very offit whilst typing last night, so some things may have been a bit scrambled.
