Can I get some advice for this scenario:

An order was made from Europe, and the vendor did tracking on it. After becoming late the tracking was checked via tor. It was held at uk customs for a couple of weeks and then returned back to the originating country.

No letter was received from customs, even after a couple of months.

Would future domestic orders be ok? Can an address be marked for local delivery (don't know if that's a thing)?
And I presume international is a definite no no?
And how come no letter was sent out?

Yes domestic mail in the UK isn't searched even if you burn your address on international orders it shouldn't factor in.

I'm sorry I don't understand what your question is here, but as I said above burning you address on international orders shouldn't have an affect on domestic orders. Unless a large amount ie intent to supply.

Yes if a package is seized by customs you should consider your address burned for all future international orders.

And how come no letter was sent out?

They may never send one out or they may do it in several months.

However I can't see why your package would have been returned to the point of origin if they'd found illicit goods. I would expect it to be seized not returned to sender.

The vendor could be scamming you, or maybe they made a mistake in their customs declaration/postage and that's why it was returned idk.

Many thanks, that's cleared up my questions. Yes I'm wondered if it was a scam by the vendor as well. They did have some good feedback on a forum but I guess that doesn't really mean anything so could have been a weird scam or declaration mistake. Trouble is I'll never know so just have to assume I can't order internationally to this address

If you want to see if your address is burned, you could just try ordering another trivial amount of drugs from another vendor? UK police will almost definitely not hassle you if they catch you importing a gram of hash.

Edit: Hash might not be the best choice for this because it's bulky and it smells. But you catch my drift

I think that would depend on that particular police force's policies and resources.

Some of them do have things like weed possession as more or less unofficially decriminalised.

But others would obtain a warrant to search the house, as several people have attested to online.

I have to say that I think it's a bad idea to test whether you're going to get into legal trouble, by deliberately causing it.

There is no doubt that the OP will be on a Border Force black list when it comes to mail and packages from abroad. I'd hazzard a guess that some items might even get xrayed, if they could contain banned substances. And if OP was foolish enough to attempt this again, I'd be surprised i he didnt get caught by Border Force, and have this followed up by a raid from the police.

Not so fast Shinji - I've ordered drugs from abroad after having stuff seized/being arrested for importing drugs and I still get the drugs.

Yeah, but the standard wisdom is not to do it again to same address, risky.

Just for everyone's info here, I personally know someone who had their place searched and were arrested for 7g hash imported. They did not get charged, but still. It's random

Fuck knows why anyone would import 7g hash, but that person did and that's what transpired
