It sounds so promising but every time I do it I get a horrible bodyload that lasts for the entire trip and just ruins everything...

Yesterday I did a low dose (7g) of peruvian torch for a chill party. It made me feel pretty good but even on such a low dose I had this annoying, but light, bodyload. It wasn't particularly bad. Just annoying.

How can I get rid of this?? Any tips?

i've never had this. are you eating on an empty stomach, i always have done and had no such problem

Try extracting it. That will reduce all of the bodyload associated with eating whole cactus, although Mesc (and most Phens) do have some inherent bodyload

i didnt quite unerstandbody load, i took it as feeling sedated, which i like

I have only tried synthetic which pretty much lacked a significant bodyload, if there was any it was experienced as part of a high (actually it was quite clean, wonderfully so) therefore I consider it either personal or a result of the cactus alkaloid mixture.

A cleaner extraction will get you more near a clean mescaline experience though I think there are some things to lose like a strong spiritual component. Not that I felt it lacked it but I somehow believe that cactus alkaloids can attribute to a more wholesome spiritual experience.

Similar tradeoffs can be described with mushrooms vs. pure tryptamines now that I think of it!

What exactly is this bodyload while on psychoactives? What feeling are people talking about?

I always get confused with this discription too... i had some DOI the other day and to begin with it did make feel a little bloated like I had ate to much, I'm not sure if this is the feeling people are referring to. I do remember reading the stomach has seratonin receptors which could be causing this discomfort.

Bodyload is just an umbrella term for any negative physical side effects. So, nausea, muscle tension, bloating, over stimulation (too much energy), etc, are all examples of bodyload. When the term is used in reference to one drug (say 2c-e for example), it usually refers to the collective physical side effects, so 2c-e's tendency to promote muscle tension, nausea, and overstimulation would all constitute its "bodyload"

hope that helps guys
