Ugh insurance

I just found out my health insurance premium is going up too 500 Dollars a month in January. There's no fucking way I can afford that with no job. I think I'm going to see a lawyer this week about applying for disability. I haven't been able to work in a couple years because of depression

WTF that's an outrageous increase! I hope disability works out for you, nothing worse than having a bunch of stress on top of depression :S

Yeah it's insane. Alabama didn't expand Medicaid and it's nearly impossible to get without having a kid. The worst part is I found a therapist I really like but if my insurance changes I may have to switch which would be a disaster. So much stress right now

You are not going to believe what mine went up to as a 63 year old: $1035.00 a month for a $6000 deductible! I wanted to just skip the whole thing but my husband vetoed that saying we are not risking everything we own if something catastrophic happens. This is such bullshit. Trump takes away the subsidies when he is unable to get congress to dismantle the program altogether. I hate this government and I hate that so many of my fellow citizens will not demand healthcare and demand an end to profitmaking insurance sellers.

SSDI might be a viable option for you. It doesn't have to be forever.

Ugh herby that's insane! Who the hell can afford that? I hate our government too. We can spend trilliobs on a fighter jets but can't afford to take care of our citizens? So much for "for the people by the people".

Well, emigrating to a saner part of the globe is also something my husband vetoes. Otherwise you Aussies would have me there in a heartbeat. Well, either you or Ecuador. They have a good health care system.
