So I've been 7 days now with no kratom after spending a year taking pretty larger doses three times a day. I was doing real good yesterday and the day before with tons of energy and positivity. Today I just woke up feeling uggggh so much pain and restlessness in my legend just so irritable like I have to hold myself back for snapping at my mom or my kid for just talking or touching me. Whats going on?? It feels like I've been set back but I didn't take anything except very low does of zopiclone for sleep.

Its really common for people to have a short two or three day hypomanic type period right after the acutes are over and before PAWS. Since kratoms half life is under four hours the acutes will last about five days. Since you are on day seven after two days of feeling great, after a year long daily kratom habit I bet this is whats going down.

Here is some strong information on PAWS as well as some good ideas on how to deal with it. Even most heavy users pass out of this phase in under 8 months. Given your habit was relatively short you have a great chance at working out much sooner.

Exercise is probably the very best thing for it. I know I want to strangle the person who made exercise the cure for fatigue and lack of energy as well.

But twenty or thirty minutes of Aerobic Exercise four or five times a week is what you want to work up to. It both treats the symptoms of PAWS and also facilitates the healing desired and thus can greatly reduce the time we experience it for.

Would be nice if we just woke up after acute and were in the clear right.. but most of don't. It can be kinda like a roller coaster with moods and emotions being all over the place for awhile.. The best place to aim is for a peaceful existence.. keep it simple for a bit.. don't worry about the future or dwell in the past. Keep your thoughts in the present and keep them positive.

Nice work on getting through the acutes=D
