I have learned that tyranny is in our very walls
Rooted in hypocrisy that's spooned fed to us all
Questions with horrendous answers fill my social pages
How come "The land of the free" has so many cages?
A country built by immigrants with hope in their stares
Ironic how the lies flood out when dealing with foreign affairs
The poor are now a spectacle for all to gather round
But don't you find it strange that the cast outnumbers the crowd?
We live in space we occupy but never is our own
Why would we build families when we can't afford a home?
Made to feel guilty for speaking out when others are in need
When that rhetoric comes from the same ones who destroy lives with their greed
When prisons become labor camps for minor drug offenders
But pedophiles run the nation and expect us to surrender
We bite thier tongue for them and spit on thier shoes
Cause when it comes to money games we never were amused
