Water, Waves and Wellness

I float upon waves, embedded with desire
As I’m swept further and further to my oblivion-
My cascade of warmth and relief may soon overflow
And catch me below it

With expectations, I pull my anchor and float aimlessly.
A warm amber glow has finally surrounded me.
As sun falls I may rise, so I may replace it in the sky.
Rays and eruptions are all that may be.

Leaving this… this metaphysical, transcendent space
Could never occur. This wellness is beyond me,
This ecstasy consumes me. Who could drag me back
To where I once was but He himself?

Who could wipe the stars from the sky?
Who could shield the sun’s shining eye?
Who could match a perfect harmony?
Who, then, could ever touch me?

A Declaration of the Human Entity

Though entangled in the binds of mortality,
everything that is will always be.

For who could wipe the stars from the sky?
And who could shield our sun's shining eye?
Who could match such perfect harmony?
So nothing then could ever bother me.

Obviously there's some overlapping (the last stanzas).

wow

As I was reading the first poem, I felt it completely. I'm an opiate freek, currently just on Suboxone. It took me away from the frustration that I'm currently feeling at this time, as I was reading it, thank you. It helped me remember, it made so much sense. Nice write.

the words call to me to use again today... reminds me of the warm rush and the feeling of surreality that surrounds the feelings of H freshly banged... lol, great write! taking a week off from my mild chemical romance... nice reminder though :)
