I personally don't like the show but "mind control"? I am actually impressed that such clean cut programming brings in the numbers needed to keep it on the air. I have a lot more respect for the family/individual who sits down to watch this program as opposed to crap reality TV shows and re-runs of Friends.
 
Hell yes. I'm glad someone else noticed this other than me. Most television shows try to instill their beliefs in you somewhat subversively, the producers of 7th heaven just blatantly shove their beliefs down your throat.

Still, despite all the moral strong arming going on my mind always strays to the thought of banging the two oldest daughters while I watch the show. God I'd just love for the preacher and his up tight wife to come home and see Mary giving me a hummer while the other daughter rails fat lines of blow off her sisters amazing ass. Then I'd knock 'em up and leave 'em with two babies they couldn't abort.

i used to watch this show a lot... i'm sure i've seen every episode. i started watching because it was funny. that whole family is just so ridiculous. then i kept watching because the show sorta sucked me in.

anyway, i think i'm over it. i can't stand how there are a ton of blondes on the show (was there a shortage of brunette and redhead actresses?), the family is always in everyone else's business, and the storylines aren't even about the family members anymore- they're about the acquaintances of the family members.

stfu- beverley, huh? i always thought jessica was much hotter.

but seriously, the show's purpose is to give good morals to the audience, and the problem here is not that the show does this, but that people watch the show because they want to be morally guided

How is meddling in the affairs of everyone they know (on the show) setting a good example?

I don't think I could sleep at night if I was one of the actors.

i didnt say they were good morals.. i personally think they are a load of shit too
there are enough viewers who dont think that way though
