Is there any way to get rid of the extended release properties of tussionex (hydrocodone/chlorpheniramine) so it hits you all at once? This may sound like a stupid question but I can't think of any method off the top of my head. Also removing the chlorpheniramine would be a bonus, and yes I've heard the syrup is better for potentiating rather than by itself

Nope.

You're better off just drinking it and enjoying the extended release opiate high, Tussionex is pretty potent by itself. The CPM (chlorpheniramine) does help to potentiate and (more importantly) knocks that hydrocodone itch down.

In theory better with oxycodone, but since it already comes with hydrocodone in there.

I could see combining Tussionex with another opiate, but it's really not needed unless you've got a serious opiate tolerance, and if you did, you would probably just take CPM by itself with your opiate of choice.
