SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A Vallejo-based rapper was arrested earlier this month after apparently trying to hide 6,000 Ecstasy pills in his clothes before boarding a plane, U.S. Attorney McGregor W. Scott said.

Steven Noel Davison, 34, who performs under the names "PSD," "PSD tha Drivah," and "Stevie Dee," was trying to board an ExpressJet flight at Sacramento International Airport on July 14, when he was pre-screened by the Transportation Security Administration agents.

Screeners did a pat search on him and found a bulge in his pants inside his inner right leg, authorities said.

Davison told the agents it was a colostomy bag, then tried to leave twice before he was taken to a private screening area, Scott said.

While in handcuffs, Davison took a bag out of his pants that contained 1,000 pills.

Agents suspected that the pills were MDMA, or Ecstasy, because of their color and imprint of a female body, Scott said.

Later, a screener found 5,000 MDMA pills stuffed into one of the corners of the privacy room where Davison was being held.

Davison appeared Thursday in federal court, Scott said, but has not been sentenced.

Wow, it is amazing that there are people stupid enough to try to carry that many pills on their person on an plane. How much money could he have made off this little venture anyway?. I reckon $15,000 or less. Defintely not worth it considering he could smuggled them many other ways that have much less chance of detection. What an idiot.
 
I thought it was gonna be about lil wayne or something lol...ive never even heard of this dude. If hes on thizz records then no big surprise he does mad pills. I wonder if he could say they are for personal use only haha.
 
Although what he did was blatantly stupid I still feel bad for the guy. He will most likely get 10 years in a Federal Pen for this :|

haha, I know. If I have 50 I struggle not to have loads fall out or get crushed.

im guessing he was already really high to even attempt something so stupid

i'd love to hear his defense "well sir they were really shitty you need like 250 to even start to roll" or "i blame todays rap music"

and why bother to ditch 5000? lol "oh you only have 1000 e pills on you? no prob man good thing it wasn't 1000 and 1 or we'd have to contact the authorities" and how long did it take him to count out 1000?

Yep... I heard on the news that he could get up to 20 years.... stupid. :\

Well... this should be easy...

He'll be placed at offense level 32 (250 mg per pill, 1g MDMA = 1,000g marijuana; 1,500 KG Marijuana equivalent for 6,000 pills... 1,000-3,000 Kg marijuana is offense level 32)

121-151 months in Fed. prison.
10-12.5 years.

Now - that's before any kind of plea deal (acceptance of responsibility is a 2 or 3 level reduction), if he has no criminal history (if he does, he's looking at more time...) and wasn't carrying a weapon, he can get an additional 2 level downward departure (lower offense level) for a safety valve.

That's 5 levels down.
At offense level 27 he's looking at
70-87 months.


Digital Punk - he "COULD" get 20 years and a fine of $1,000,000. That's the statutory maximum, and the likelihood of ANYONE getting the statutory maximum is very, very, very slim.

For me, the stat. max is 120 years (180 with a prior drug conviction) and a fine of $6,000,000 (or $12,000,000 with a prior drug conviction), and over 4 months we had fewer than 5,000 pills.
He only has one count, so his statutory maximum is less than mine.

My plea agreement is for 3.8ish years.
He can work it down.
 
I will say this though; he's been to court but hasn't been sentenced.

I've been to court about 15 times now and I haven't been sentenced.
He was arrested less than a month ago. This is federal court. They're not quick about anything.
I was arrested in Feb. 2007. Of course he hasn't been sentenced yet.
It was about 3 weeks before I even went in to enter a plea - and pleading guilty wasn't an option at that point.

It's going to be 2 months minimum before anything happens with this case - and that's assuming he just pleas guilty.
 
Oh my, calling him an idiot, would be an insult to idiots... I guess he'll be rappin' in da'Pen for a lungz'timez
