Trying to quit real IV fentanyl

I am a 36 year old married mom of two. I also have an addiction to honest to god real IV fentanyl and midazolam. Not the fentanyl dissolved from a patch either. It started with 100 mcg here and there, but now I'm up to 400 to 1,000 mcg per day when I use. Problem is, I can't get fentanyl daily so even though I am able to score 3 or 4 days a week, because it is so freaking short acting, I am in withdrawl at least once a week. And no other opiod can touch the withdrawl; I've tried.

I've been resorting to riskier actions to obtain doses and I'm afraid that I am close to losing everything I love in life; and I have a lot to lose. So now I am looking into a methadone clinic, but I'm afraid nothing is strong enough to compete with or beat fentanyl. So that is my story and my warning. Don't touch the stuff. It's beyond addictive and I've even landed in the hospital on a ventilator before thanks to an overdose. Looking to just get to know people in similar situations.

I myself have played around with fentanyl and all I can say is that you'd be very surprised how easily you can taper down and get your tolerance back to a better level.

Not sure how pharmaceutical savvy you are but fentanyl is a fully synthetic opioid, so that's why the potency is also very high. Now if you'd like to maybe stop doing this, I'd suggest grabbing some PATCHES, instead of IV vials, and doing a few small dabs of patches and maybe mixing with 15mg morphine. Doing the morphine will give you the euphoric feeling a lot longer mixed with a dose of fentanyl, you'd be surprised how well this works, fentanyl is quite the potentiator, and if you do a small amount on-top of 15mg-30mg morphine you'll see it gives you the longer lasting euphoric feeling and since the half-life of the morphine is more so than that of fentanyl it really does work very well.

I was at the point of doing about 1-1.5 100mcg patches a day and have since moved to maybe 15mcg + 15mg-30mg morphine, and my tolerance has finally got back to a reasonable level.

I hope this info helps you a bit but it will save you from withdrawals. The tiny amount of morphine sulfate makes a huge difference with a lower dose of the fentanyl. Basically all this is doing is just helping you remove such high dosings of Fentanyl and getting your tolerance back to a somewhat manageable level.

Hope this helps, and feel free to message for any other questions!

As a fellow (and thankfully now ex-) user of the spike for Fentanyl please do feel free to PM me anytime.

IV Fentanyl took my soul but somehow not my life, I got so fucking lucky it's untrue - 10,000mics/day it hit before I jumped the shit and it is the best thing I ever did.

I was pretty bad on patches and now I am on 170 mg of methadone and it works

So the methadone does work to stop withdrawal

Try it they will only start you on like30 mg but stick with it until you get comfortable methadone is strong enough

Go through the initial withdrawl until you are better. Then try again but only do it every other day. You might not get withdrawl because the day gap doesn't get your body hooked. So basically you can get high every other day with limited to no downside.

hi and welcome to bluelight ;D

i've been on methadone maintenance for about 7 years and it has its pros and cons, but it might be a solution for you. Or you could try Suboxone too. I think opiate replacement therapy would be the best option for you at this point.
