Anton , EU, 44 (worked in all sorts of places in the UK, Portugal, Sweden and Denmark)... life was pretty jolly while using recreationally ; ironic as it might sound to some ,my true addiction and the very real "impression" that you´re going down the drain along with your life coincided with my decision to stop my H addiction this last time (over 10 years ago btw) by not going cold turkey ,as I usually would do, but instead choose a shortcut (Sub maintenance) which introduced what are without a doubt the most insidious drugs I , at least, have ever been dependent on : Buprenorphine and soon after benzodiazepines cause the bupre was disrupting my sleep ,plus having anxiety issues - I ,like most addicts found it a great idea to go and try patch it up with more drugs.
Yeah, 10 + years of not quite knowing who I am, going from benzo to benzo, Gp to Gp, drug centers ... probably too much for an intro , yet : lots of experience with almost every drug out there at some point, combos and specially my personal long term predicament with both benzos + buprenorphine . Feel free to ask anything else which might not be included or read in between the lines . Thank you all !
P.S. Currentely with a major alcohol hangover cause of my stupidity in having begun to drink here and there, socially, with mates at work specially - all you´ll achieve by doing this is quite long to discuss here but the most obvious consequence is benzodiazepines losing their original effect . So, yeah ... What am I doing to myself is anyone´s guess ?
