I had a bad ran of OCD thoughts about wanting to touch my older brother who is autisitic. I got on X to try to take the feelings away, it just masked them. Then got on Luvox, Lorazepam, and Perp/Amitrtyptline. THey worked well, masking anyways. But I had to cut off Amitrtyptyline b/c I was sleeping 17 hours a day. Now I have this questions.....is OCD even that bad or was it the nonstop X back 10 years ago? Can I slowly come off Fluvoxamine and Lorazepam and all these drugs and get back to normal, should I go the way of nootropics? I Just want the truth.

it may be just me but im not exactly sure what your stating or asking... it seems like there might some word missing or possible grammar issues, i cant really answer. can you re-type or edit this?

Now I have this questions.....is OCD even that bad or was it the nonstop X back 10 years ago?

what are you comparing OCD to? i cant answer unless put in the proper context, like bad compared to what? and what are your OCD symptoms? "X" im assuming you are referring to ecstasy (a pill or powder containing MDMA among another variety of substances)? asking "or was it the nonstop "X"" i dont understand are you asking: if the OCD (or ecstasy) caused you to have thoughts of wanting to touch your brother? what do you mean by touched? i can only assume you mean in a sexual nature...

seriously why would ecstacy help with OCD thoughts of touching someone? when i think of ecstacy i think the of high strung fast thought and touch things or people feels good cuz your high!

unfortunately i have to answer you question with a series of questions, i what to give you the information that you are looking for so please EDIT

I'm not sure what you meant about wanting to touch your brother? I'm not sure if you should go on those meds or not. Talk to your doctor about it. Some people have found that CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) can help with OCD.
