TRUE physical addiction study

does anybody have the link to the study(or info on it) about the addiction study they did with barbituates(i think???).
they gave this cat IV injections of a drug for 8 months and then they gave it a salt solution. the cat died shortly after that.
anybody know what i'm talking about????

Nope.. I searched and couldn't find anything .. but it makes sense - barbituate withdrawal can be fatal...

I odnt know what your talking about either but if you find it can you post the link? did this happen along time ago. I would think so. I dont nkow what they were trying to accomplish by doing that to the cat. I mean, they knew it would die, right? Oh well. That cat felt great for 8 months, huh?

i'm still trying to find that link.
but i think the purpose behind the study was to find out about true physical addiction. that if after a long period of time if you're not given the drug you will die from the withdrawel.
