this is kinda embarrassing but anytime i take opiates i have a VERY difficult time peeing, most of the time i can't do it all even though it feels like i have to go! i was wondering if there are any tricks to dealing with this and how long i can go without peeing before i should worried because i know urinary retention can hurt your kidneys.

I have been using heroin for nearly 11 years myself and I also have problems with going for a pee along with constipation as well.
I don't really have an answer on ways of helping you to pee,I am a bloke and the only thing I do when I can't pee is to just sit down on the toilet and wait for the pee to happen however long it takes.
Don't strain or try too hard to go toilet as that will only make it harder. Take a book in with you and accept it may take some time.
Hopefully someone else may have some useful info that we could both use.

Im the opposite & was about to make a thread. I have taken oxycodone twice this week & after sleeping, I got up at least 4 times during the night to piss. I hate getting up to go to the bathroom.

These reactions (both more frequent urination and trouble urinating) are common with oxycodone.

If they're bothersome, reduce your oxycodone dosage.

drugs like opiates have all kinds of side effects and reactions on the body in how it functions, it pretty much puts you in slow-mo. you will have a harder time achieving orgasm, but you can still get a hard on so its good for sex. it can also fuck with your urinary tract, effecting that side of the spectrum as well.

my suggestion would be to drink more water. if you keep drinking and continue to flow fluid through your system, it will have no choice but to come out.
