Bobby Bong Water'

Ohh wait, it's not...

I have not yet to read if this information is correct but, some say Vitamin C potentiates the effects of LSD.
but it may be a myth, but remember while On LSD placebo is extremily strong, so YEAH IT WERKS GREAT!

yeah tiggerDUDE, I hear the same ole shit but what about the facts, you seem to nothing about that so your lil post was pretty much worthless (j/j) any other facts or opions from our fellow bluelighter's.

No, orange juice doesnt not make you trip harder (although the vitamin C certainly doesnt hurt your body any) and milk does not calm a trip down or whatever you've heard. Placebo effect is all they're good for, hope this helped, lates

fact: large doses of vitamin c (2000mg+) can reduce mental confusion associated with large doses of lsd without reducing hallucinations.

Do you have a source to confirm this information?
It seems highly unlikely to me that 2 grams of vitamin c would calm your mind.
I can imagine it would 'throw' some of the drugs you took out of your body because you would probably start sweating and pissing a lot if you would take high amounts of vitamin c...

Yes, please post a source for that piece of information, because I have never heard anything of the sort.

Ah, taking a potentially toxic doses of vit C will not not calm the mind. One effect that has been observed with a 2 gram dose is alteration of the insulin response to carbohydrate in people with otherwise normal glucose tolerances. Formation of kidney stones, alteration of the acid-base balance, and interference with the action of vitamin E are also effects from ingesting potentially toxic levels of Vit. C. My source, well it's my nutrition book. I have a midterm on vitamins and minerals tomorrow, so wish me luck! And no, it's not an easy class. My advise, think twice before taking a nutrition class just to get an easy A!!!

Yea..i'd definitely take heed before intaking an assload of vitamins just because they're generally good for you...Vita C is damn hard on your stomach/kidney's i read...too much Vita E can thin your blood.

umm, 2 grams of vitamin c is bad for u?? umm i didnt think so. dont u just piss out any excess. but yeah can cause crystalurea in cronic high dose use. but whos gunna take 2g for years?
and ILL POST THE SOURCE TOMMORROW. dont know the name of it off the top of my head
dietpepsilover, is the change in acid-base balance a significant one? does it result in noticeable effects? i doubt it. do u honestly believe a once a fortnight dose of 2g vit c is going to do u harm? from the impression i got from my pharmacology lecturers etc it would be fine.

bad news.....the book wasnt in the library today...cant remember wat it was called but it wasnt in its spot. it was a book printed in the late 70"s or 80"s and had info on all the psycedelics. the part i was refering to had info on studies done on alcoholics being treated with lsd etc.
believe me or not, i dont care, i will continue looking for the book and scan the appropriate pages when/if i find it. if anyone doesnt believe me then please DO call me a lier right here(please post) so i can laugh at you when i do find my source.

excess vitamin C will be pissed out , it disolves easily in water. I think vitamin C makes the trip cleaner and helps get oxygen to the brain , but I have no proof that this is true.
