Trip before or after roll?

My friends and I are taking a weekend trip to Denver and are going to be doing acid for the first time while also rolling x at a concert on friday. Since we dont want to take the acid the day after we roll x, we have to take it the same day. We were thinking of going to a state park, taking the acid in the morning, then when it wears off 10-12 hours later, we go to the concert and take the x? Is this a good idea? Any other suggestions?
